Does anybody know where i can find a boot disc or even just a SATA driver so i can boot to DOS Prompt. I tried booting with a Windows 98SE boot disc but it doesnt recognise my SATA DVD drive as it only detects IDE im pretty sure Basically what im trying to do is Boot to MS-DOS prompt so i can run Norton GHOST and create a image of the drive. I need to boot to my new SATA-II based system using a DOS boot disk. However, I tried a "generic" Windows 98 SE boot disk and the CD-ROM driver failed to detect either of my two SATA DVD drives. Does anyone have a link to driver software which will enable access to SATA DVD drives from a DOS boot disk or boot CD?. OAKCDROM and MSCDEX work with DVD-ROM drives (In fact, all drives I've seen so far). DVD-drives are actually similar to CD-ROM drives, work similarly, and share the same ISO filesystem.
